What it does

Most small businesses on HubSpot have a full contact list but no reliable way to know who is actually worth chasing. HubSpot's own predictive scoring is locked behind higher-tier plans, so owners end up guessing — or working leads in whatever order they happened to come in. Good prospects go cold while time gets spent on contacts who were never a fit.

This skill runs every week and ranks every contact on two separate numbers: an intent score (how engaged is this lead right now?) and a qualification score (how well does this business actually fit?). Keeping them separate is the whole point — a quiet but perfect-fit lead and a noisy but poor-fit lead need very different handling, and a single blended number hides that difference.

Every score is written back onto the contact record with a plain-English reason. No black box. Every Monday I get a short summary: who to call now, who to nurture, who to leave alone.

How the two scores work

  • 📶 Intent score (0–100) — website visits and page views, email opens and clicks, recency of activity, form fills, booked calls, and genuine inbound replies. Measures engagement right now.
  • 🏆 Qualification score (0–100) — company size, industry, problems described in notes and meetings, how far through a buying conversation they are. Measures fit regardless of activity.
  • 📧 Gmail inbound replies — real replies from the lead, not just your outreach, flagged and scored separately to surface genuine interest.
  • 📅 Google Calendar checks — booked calls pull a qualification signal; missed calls or reschedules are factored into intent drift.
  • 🎙️ Granola meeting notes — how recent meetings actually went, pulled from transcripts, not just CRM stage. A great meeting with no follow-up activity still scores high.
  • 📝 Reason on every record — why a lead ranked where it did is written in plain English on the HubSpot contact, visible to anyone on the team.
  • 🚫 Noise filtering — cold outreach from leads pitching their own services is identified and deprioritised automatically.
